At GBE Engineering Systems, we supply cast resin transformers to Ireland, manufactured using our advanced resin insulation technology with at least one winding embedded in an autoclave mould under near-zero vacuum using epoxy resin.

The other winding can also be cast in epoxy resin or impregnated with H-class polyester resin.

Our production includes E2, C2, and F1, but also E3 (IEC 60076-16) and C4 (GOST-R).

Cast Resin Transformer Fire Safety

Our cast resin transformers are built entirely with insulating, flame-retardant, and self-extinguishing materials. They are free from restrictions that normally apply to flammable equipment with the danger of spreading fire.

Cast resin transformers can be supplied with protection boxes having the desired IP rating. The casings are painted with epoxy coatings. The required RAL (RAL 7032 is standard) is available with pickled or galvanised sheet metal for outdoor installation.
